I just can’t resist a perfectly mirrored reflection.

When I first scouted this location a couple of years ago it was in the late summer, the mountains were bare, and the lake wasn’t still. At the time it didn’t seem like it had a lot of potential and I quickly dismissed it. When visiting the area again this spring to do further scouting for the Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference, I couldn’t believe my eyes when I rolled up! Perfectly still waters, snow-capped peaks and a pop of colour transformed this spot into a little slice of heaven that I had all to myself.
