A large grizzly paws at the earth looking for snacks to help fatten it up before winter hibernation. I had over 30 minutes all to myself with this big bear, watching it lumber down a hill towards me, pausing at the water to take a drink and cutting across within 20ft before it started digging in this spot. This photo was taken from the safety of my vehicle with a 600mm lens.
