Bowed Not Broken

This old tree has been battered about for many a winter by the strong winds that blow through this place. But as bowed as it may be, it will not break; its shapely form a testament to its resilience and the courage to stand strong in the face of all odds.

I also processed this shot in black and white and while I do quite like it, I feel the splash of green really defines this winter image.
