I took this photo during one of our field sessions at the inaugural Lightchasers Nature Photography Conference. It was so wonderful to watch all of our attendees explore the same area and find so many different subjects to focus on, from the grand to the intimate. I laid next to this field of glacier lilies for some time, exploring various compositions by moving my camera mm by mm before finally getting it just right with this one.
