July 16th was one of the most incredible chase days I’ve ever experienced. 5 separate storm systems moved through central Alberta, one right after another. This was the fourth and arguably the most stunning of the day as gorgeous sunset light from the northwest illuminated one side of the structure as it rolled over the vibrant yellows of this canola field. This is a moment that chasing dreams are made of and catching a light bolt on the far right of the frame made it even better! I can’t wait for storm season 2023!
