White Out II

Blizzard-like conditions in the late afternoon sun created such a soft, diffused and slightly golden light all around us as we made our way back down from a glacial ice cave. Despite my friends getting further ahead and closer to the warmth of our waiting vehicles, I stopped time and again to capture the swirling snow and clouds around the mountain with this shot being my favourite. The small, sparse trees in the background may be my favourite aspect of this photo.
