Precarious

I feel as though this tree’s existence clinging to these rocks is as precarious as mine was while getting this shot. Tripod at full extension, balancing unsteadily on slippery rocks (both me and the tripod!), playing a game of millimeters trying to make sure all of the elements were successfully separated. This is a challenging place to come away from with a compelling shot and it’s taken a few trips to even get this far.
